My Support Philosophy

I believe in creating a space where we are equal, ensuring you feel empowered to express yourself productively and at your own pace.

A Partnership of Trust

Working together one-on-one creates a unique environment where you can feel part of a circle of trust. In my experience, I have found that a personalised, approach feels significantly less intrusive and allows for a genuine sense of ease. From a professional stance, I am able to focus entirely on your needs, ensuring a lighthearted and supportive atmosphere.

Complete control over the conversation

In our sessions, you are in the driver's seat regarding what we discuss. I believe in total flexibility:

  • Open table policy: Any topic can be put on or taken off the table at any time.

  • The "Pin" method: If there is something you aren't ready to share or explore yet, we simply "pin" it. We acknowledge it exists without diving in, saving it for a time when you feel ready and supported enough to revisit it.

This individual approach reduces the pressure often felt in formal settings and mitigates any feeling of "wrongdoing."

Because it is just the two of us, I can:

  • Mirror real-life scenarios tailored specifically to your experiences.

  • Offer a different perspective by focusing deeply on your unique situation.

  • Value your voice, constantly asking for your input and corrections to ensure our work stays relevant to you.

Unity and the dynamic of our professional friendship mean we work as a team of two to navigate challenges and find the best path forward.

Addressing issues early is critical to prevent more long term harm. Children are like sponges and they are constantly absorbing experiences more than at any other time of their lives. Identifying unhealthy patterns of behaviour or conditions is the best thing you can do to help.
